Decode Euro NCAP Frontal Offset Test Protocol

Extract and tabulate the key test parameters (impact speed, barrier type, overlap percentage, dummy type) from the official Euro NCAP frontal offset test protocol to build a reference checklist for test setup.

Map C-NCAP Frontal Crash Test Requirements

Compare the C-NCAP frontal 100% rigid barrier and 40% offset deformable barrier test configurations, documenting differences in speed, barrier geometry, and dummy seating positions for test planning.

C-NCAPRequirements

Analyze Bharat NCAP Frontal Offset Test Conditions

Identify the specific frontal offset test parameters mandated by Bharat NCAP (e.g., 64 km/h ODB, 40% overlap) and verify their alignment with global NCAP protocols using official documentation.

Calculate Occupant Injury Criteria from Crash Test Data

Given a set of dummy acceleration time-history signals, compute HIC15, chest deflection, and femur loads according to Euro NCAP and C-NCAP assessment protocols, and compare the resulting scores.

CalculateOccupant

Perform Side Impact Test Setup for Euro NCAP

Configure a side impact crash test (mobile deformable barrier, 60 km/h) per Euro NCAP requirements, including barrier alignment, dummy positioning, and data acquisition channel verification.

Evaluate C-NCAP Side Pole Impact Test Procedure

Simulate the C-NCAP side pole impact test (32 km/h, 75° angle) using a validated FE model, and extract occupant response metrics to assess compliance with C-NCAP limits.

Assess Bharat NCAP Side Impact Test Parameters

Document the Bharat NCAP side impact test configuration (barrier mass, speed, dummy) and compare it with Euro NCAP and C-NCAP side impact protocols to highlight regional differences.

Build a Pedestrian Protection Test Matrix for Euro NCAP

Create a test matrix for Euro NCAP pedestrian protection assessment covering legform, upper legform, and headform impacts at specified grid points, including impactor selection and speed.

PedestrianProtection

Analyze C-NCAP Pedestrian Head Impact Test Zones

Determine the head impact test zone boundaries on a vehicle bonnet according to C-NCAP pedestrian protection rules, and calculate the number of test points required for a given vehicle geometry.

C-NCAPPedestrian

Compare Child Occupant Protection Requirements Across NCAPs

Tabulate the child occupant protection (COP) assessment criteria for Euro NCAP, C-NCAP, and Bharat NCAP, focusing on CRS installation checks, dummy selection, and dynamic test performance.

OccupantProtection

Perform AEB Pedestrian Test Scenario Setup per Euro NCAP

Set up the Euro NCAP AEB pedestrian test scenarios (e.g., CPFA, CPNA) using a target dummy and test equipment, ensuring correct approach speeds, lighting, and trigger conditions.

Validate C-NCAP AEB Car-to-Car Test Scenarios

Execute a C-NCAP AEB car-to-car rear-end test scenario (CCRs) with a surrogate target vehicle, and verify that the test parameters (speed, overlap, timing) match the protocol.

Implement Bharat NCAP AEB Two-Wheeler Test

Configure and run a Bharat NCAP AEB two-wheeler test scenario (e.g., scooter crossing), including target speed, vehicle approach speed, and data logging for performance evaluation.

Analyze Lane Support System Test Results for Euro NCAP

Process lane departure warning (LDW) and lane keeping assist (LKA) test data from Euro NCAP lane support system tests, and calculate pass/fail based on warning timing and lateral deviation criteria.

Evaluate C-NCAP Lane Keeping Assist Performance

Conduct a C-NCAP lane keeping assist test on a straight and curved road, and quantify the system's ability to keep the vehicle within lane boundaries using defined metrics.

Assess Bharat NCAP Lane Departure Warning Requirements

Test a vehicle's lane departure warning system according to Bharat NCAP specifications, and compare the warning activation thresholds with those of Euro NCAP and C-NCAP.

Conduct Euro NCAP Speed Assistance System Test

Perform a speed assistance system (SAS) test per Euro NCAP protocol, including speed limit information function (SLIF) and speed control function (SCF) checks, and record compliance results.

Verify C-NCAP Speed Limit Information Function

Evaluate a vehicle's speed limit information function using C-NCAP test procedures, covering sign recognition accuracy and response to variable speed limits.

C-NCAPInformation

Test Bharat NCAP Speed Assistance Compliance

Execute Bharat NCAP speed assistance system tests, focusing on the mandatory speed limit information and warning requirements, and document any deviations from the protocol.

Perform Euro NCAP Frontal Crash Pulse Analysis

Analyze the crash pulse (deceleration-time history) from a Euro NCAP frontal offset test, and compute key metrics such as peak deceleration, pulse duration, and dynamic crush to assess vehicle structural performance.

Compare C-NCAP and Euro NCAP Frontal Crash Kinematics

Using validated CAE models, simulate the same vehicle in C-NCAP and Euro NCAP frontal offset tests, and compare occupant kinematics and restraint system performance to identify protocol-driven differences.

Evaluate Bharat NCAP Frontal Crash Structural Integrity

Assess the structural integrity of a vehicle body-in-white under Bharat NCAP frontal offset loading conditions using finite element analysis, focusing on intrusion measurements and energy absorption.

Design a Side Impact Test Data Acquisition Plan

Develop a data acquisition plan for a Euro NCAP side impact test, specifying sensor types, sampling rates, and channel assignments for accelerometers, load cells, and dummy instrumentation.

AcquisitionNCAP

Calibrate a Side Impact Dummy for C-NCAP Testing

Perform calibration procedures for an ES-2re side impact dummy according to C-NCAP requirements, including thorax and pelvis impactor tests, and verify calibration results against tolerances.

CalibrateC-NCAP
